This book benefits the user by shortening the time spent on finding a title and scripture during sermon preparation. It contains 432 sermon titles and scripture developed from 21 evangelistic key words from the Bible.

It was written with the hope that pastors, ministers, students, and lay people alike may find it helpful. They are benefited by eliminating the steps of finding a title and scripture, which leaves them more time for preparation. The objective of this manual is to simplify the task of preaching, teaching, and evangelizing. The desire was to help others decrease effort and energy, thereby enabling them to spend more time in thought on their subject matter.

This reference manual was developed to suit the academic, religious, and liturgical markets for pastors, ministers, students, teachers, and lay people. It is a compilation of sermon titles and the scripture which support them, having been inspired by God.

    Introduction

Have you found yourself grappling with a sermon title? Do you have difficulty finding scripture or supportive points? Have you ever been asked to speak at the last minute? This book is for you! It was formulated for the purpose of being a quick reference. It was developed with the hope that pastors, ministers, students, and lay people alike in whom the expression of the Word of God is manifest, may find it helpful.

Our intention is to make it easier for the person preparing God’s Word to spend more time in thought and meditation than in the development of their sermon. This book benefits you by shortening the time spent on finding a title and scripture during sermon preparation. It contains 432 sermon titles and scripture developed from 21 evangelistic key words from the Bible. Regardless of whether you are preparing a sermon for your preaching course or developing a sermon for preaching to a congregation, there is opportunity for conservation of time and energy spent in your sermon construction.

The objective of this manual is to simplify the task of preaching. It is our goal that you thoroughly utilize and enjoy the manual as you spend less time preparing your messages. Our sincere wish is that individuals using this material while preparing the Word of God understand that it is God’s Word exhorted through the use of their gifts which start the process of spiritual growth. We believe that spiritual formation occurs when one’s desire to learn displays one’s willingness to grow, applicable to God-seeking audiences you address in their search for salvation or spiritual maturity.

Who says of his father and mother, ‘I have not seen them’; Nor did he acknowledge his brothers, Or know his own children; For they have observed Your word And kept Your covenant (De 33:9).

Naming Your Sins, as Not to Forget

For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me (Ps. 51:3).

    He Orders My Steps

In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths (Pr. 3:6).

A Call to Accept God’s Power

Hear, you who are afar off, what I have done; And you who are near, acknowledge My might (Isa 33:13).

Acknowledging God’s Blessed among the Masses

Their descendants shall be known among the Gentiles, And their offspring among the people. All who see them shall acknowledge them, That they are the posterity whom the LORD has blessed (Isa 61:9).

    Recognizing the True Father

Doubtless You are our Father, Though Abraham was ignorant of us, And Israel does not acknowledge us. You, O LORD, are our Father; Our Redeemer from Everlasting is Your name (Isa 63:16).

    Acknowledging your Disobedience to God

Only acknowledge your iniquity, That you have transgressed against the LORD your God, And have scattered your charms To alien deities under every green tree, And you have not obeyed My voice,’ says the LORD (Jer 3:13).

Admitting Who We Are to God

We acknowledge, O LORD, our wickedness And the iniquity of our fathers, For we have sinned against You (Jer 14:20).

    Godly Recognition during Difficult Times

Thus says the LORD, the God of Israel: ‘Like these good figs, so will I acknowledge those who are carried away captive from Judah, whom I have sent out of this place for their own good, into the land of the Chaldeans (Jer 24:5).

Concede and Repent, Then Call for God

I will return again to My place Till they acknowledge their offense. Then they will seek My face; In their affliction they will earnestly seek Me (Ho 5:15).

    Let the Righteous Confess First

If anyone thinks himself to be a prophet or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things which I write to you are the commandments of the Lord (1 Co 14:37).
