    Day 1

    Let’s Not Be Toxic

    Many times, what we have experienced that has become hurtful causes us to become angry with those who are around us. When we carry the things that have been told to us from those who make us toxic, we take those problems with us right at the front door of someone else. I want you to think for a second, say, if you were on the other end, who is not the toxic person. Let me be clear about this—I’m not saying that you are toxic; I’m saying let’s not be toxic from the pain we have endured. For example, if the person you are dating or just met, rather than being someone to date or someone you just hang out with as a friend, goes to you with a bag full of things and says Here, I need you to carry this, and it’s heavy, by the way, which is full of guilt, lies, hurt, and frustration, what will be your response? That same way you feel about that is how the next person is going to feel if what has happened in your past is not taken care of. It can affect a true friendship. Again, let’s not be toxic.

    Prayer

    Father God, thank you so much that you have forgiven me for my sins and that I choose to let go of all that I been through so that I can walk into what you have for me. Proverbs 16:3 (NIV) states, Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans. I believe this is the plan you have for me to live a life free and abundant. In Jesus’s name, amen!
