Preface

This short book is designed with a purpose. It is to keep the believers (in Christ) focused and balanced in this hostile environment sometimes referred to as the world system. In that sense, it is much like a military manual—short and to the point.

To a nonbeliever, perhaps perplexed by how the world appears, it is to make you aware of what are against you.

True, this is a beautiful world in many respects but at the same time a dangerous one. It is the one we are all born into, and the one in which we have to make our way. We soon discover it is not an easy one, often unfair, and we wonder— is there a purpose to all this? The questions, Who am I? Why am I here? Where am I going? cry out for answers.

If you keep an open mind and you seek answers, you will (at some point) discover that God holds the answers, and a good place to start is the Bible.

If you are a Christian, you already know this. If you are not a believer (in Christ), I encourage you to consider carefully (not hurriedly)
