    This sourcebook is an expression of love for the wonderful plant-based lifestyle! I started this book by creating collages packed with nutrition information. Then I transitioned to writing about the distinctive benefits and fascinating culture that I have enjoyed along my plant-based journey. V Musings Part One is an artful exploration of the plant nutrients and edible vegetative trends that are the heart of plant-based culture and will serve as a historical reference from this remarkable period. A huge thanks to my talented editors, Jennifer-Ruth Green and Kimora Lamotte, who examined my work with precision and helped me bring it to light. I am grateful.     The word components:

    V is for vegetable, vegan.

    Musing 1: n. a period of reflection or thought. 2: adj. thoughtfully abstracted.

    V Musings is a creative adjective: a thoughtful investigation of vegan topics and a vegan play on the word amusing.

    V Musings is designed to set free the mysteries of plant nutrition as its pages take the reader on an artful exploration of a range of topics. The plant-based diet is an ever-evolving subset of veganism and has been on the rise for decades. The popularity and ubiquity of the inventive plant-based options that pervade our food supply have led to greater and greater adoption of the plant-based diet as either a lifestyle choice or a flexitarian status for many. This book serves as a guide to make that choice a great choice. V Musings journeys through the vast world of the plant nutriments and edible vegetative trends that are the heart of the plant-based culture. The colorful anthology of collage that fills its pages highlight the important nutritional elements that make up the plant diet. Every page is a testament to the value of plant nutrition.
