Who Am I?
Hi, my name is Nick Tsai. I’m a digital marketing expert with over ten years of marketing experience.
Ten years ago, I was a realtor. As a rookie, I struggled to get clients even though I followed the traditional advice from the industry:
Distributing flyers
Posting classified ads
Cold calling
Cold mailing
But nothing worked for me.
I was frustrated, tired of struggling, and hopeless. I worked 12 hours every day and still got no clients. I lost confidence, and self-doubt crept in.
Those were the worst days of my life.
Then one day, I received a phone call that changed everything.
It was from a stranger who wanted me to help him sell this house.
I had never called or mailed him and didn’t even know who he was.
But, for some reason, he found my website.
It was an ugly blog I used as a personal notebook where I wrote down everything I learned about real estate.
For some strange reason, it became my local area's #1 ranking real estate blog.
In the next few months, people kept calling. They asked me about real estate and even begged to be taken on as clients.
All of a sudden, I became the go-to expert in the local area.
And getting clients became effortless.
It was an aha
moment for me and
I realized, It's easier to attract than to chase clients.
In the past, I pursued potential clients by cold calling, mailing, and sending flyers (aka junk mail). As a result, I became an annoying salesperson.
