About the Author
Always a Way
From determination, artistry summon an inspiration,
The will power of creativity, warrant a muse of devotion,
It was will power that inspire vision of metrical verse,
To elevate and stimulate kindheartedness, in ways that burst.
Wonders of tomorrow, from yesterday and today innovativeness.
In the darkness of a black hole, who know if there's a bottom,
Perplexing yesterday's generation, astonishment from today freshness;
Maybe someone attempted to find out, can't explain plum dumb,
Its oblivious curiosity is science; experiment the reasons is why,
and stuff just happened, to know, understanding practically, just might,
out in the realm, something new created, in time flooding desert dry,
Things change for the better, day to night, night to day maybe; just right,
There's a will, a way; always in the name of probation court, argument cause;
To challenge the legality, that just the reality, greedy and spiteful take a pause.
Ancestor Touch
They will touch you with a long stick,
Call you names, tell some lies, fake, and trick;
Cuss a lot, pretend for what, must fuss, fuss,
Hide in the brush and bush you with a rush,
Behind close door and close on the score;
Want some more, lay on the floor and pour;
One to one, man to man, mouth to hand, oh so poor,
bumping elbow no fun, water more than flower,
Teeth bite tongue, iron sharpen iron, minute follow hour,
Wake up and live, out of your sleep and slumber,
Water flooding, swim, will go under, lazy will go hunger;
Linger you linger, longer you liver, the more you seeder,
The more you see, the less you talk, round the bender,
Lot didn't know much about, now they know, still no less,
Talk is good, peace is best, will to test, smile and take a rest;
Memories bring back sadness and laughs, give the will to carry on,
Just the nature of the aftermath, looking back and upon,
From beyond come understand when your time take a stand.
And Obama Cried
It's written Jesus died for our sins;
For a dream to live as one, died Martin;
To survive, any means necessary said Malcolm
:
And Obama cried, not for what he tried; but to survive the sins, live the dream, for their nose they trump.
Many presidents before him had done some of the same policies;
On their politic, their heart set fix; and they live and died by their fallacy;
Until the color of a man's skin is no more significant than the color of his eyes
And Obama cried shame on you! Did he say that? Yes, he did. Don't ask me why;
They uttered hateful slur, said
he is the devil, think about where he is from;
Wouldn't such defile the land? Your identity is your nationality dam…
If there is any absolute truth; so much as hate him, so much have to love this man:
And Obama cried; not for immoral thought and perception; but for how much humility amend;
Gandhi protested with peace, he turned more than the other cheek;
Mandela devoted twenty-seven years in solitary confinement, for freedom he seek;
Marcus Garvey wanted to take back to Africa:
And Obama cried; the people said one more
