    About the Author

This morning I woke up, and my heart and mind was on Jesus. As I got up, the Spirit of the Lord said, Keep doing what you know to do in Christ Jesus. So I washed my sheets and went to eat. When I got back, I showered, and then I read the word.

    Trust

Trusting someone is not an easy thing to do when you're trying to do it along. You first have to know the person that you are trusting. That means that you have to spend time with that person. Spending day by day and week by week, we get to know that person. Then we get to know and understand what they want and love. Amen. So when we have a friend, we start to trust them more and more when they show their trust in us also. Trust the Lord will all thine heart, and lean not unto thine own understanding.

O ye simple, understand wisdom: and, ye fools, be ye of an understanding heart. (Proverbs 8:5)

We need to know what we're trusting for and what we are looking for from trusting. Once we know what we're trusting, who we're trusting, and what we're trusting for, we start to know real trust. I've been trusting God with my life for the past ten years or so. And it's the best thing I've ever done in the life he has blessed me with, amen. I trust the Lord that he'll keep me from being confused. Then I'll go to the word of God and look for some word to keep in my heart and talk to my Lord God about. In the Lord, do I put my trust; let me never be put to confusion.

In thee, O Lord, do I put my trust: let me never be put to confusion. (Psalm 71:1)

Then there comes a time when we have to trust someone or something to keep us safe and to really trust in them for safety. So, how do we get to a point where we truly trust God for safety? It is when you have looked into the word for scriptures that talk to you about safety and the presence of almighty God.

He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. (Psalm 91:4)

Amen. Just think about a bird under the mother's wings. How safe does the little bird feel with the safety of its mother's presence? It is the same and much more comfortable and safer with the presence and feather and the safety of God's wings in our life. There is no other place in this world that will keep you and help you go on with his son, Christ Jesus.

Real trust—that pure and that you can believe in to save you, keep you saved and to take you Home with God. It starts in the spiritual realm of God.

God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. (John 4:24)

The first thing that we have to trust is to trust that we will be saved. And to be saved, we have to have a Savior, and that Savior is Jesus Christ our Lord. How would one do this thing to be saved? This scripture and these verses can be used for those people who want to come to the Lord.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. (John 3:16–17)

So we have to put faith into being saved, trusting that we're saved; and then as we grow in the word of God, we will know that we're saved for sure to the day of Christ Jesus! Amen.

Now that you have accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior, we have to trust, believe, and have faith that we will receive the Comforter, the Spirit of truth.

But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me. (John 15:26)

    Howbeit when he, the
