Introduction
One of the biggest problems we face today in this progressive world is the lack of nutritional food included in our diets. The world is changing rapidly, and so are our habits with each passing year. The world has progressed tremendously over the years, and it has directly affected the way of our living in one way or another. We lead a much more comfortable life today, thanks to the invention of newly formed gadgets. Instead of walking longer distances as people did in the past, we have invented cars and bullet trains to help us reach our destinations within a timespan of mere minutes.
The electronic devices we use today help us connect with people who live far away from us. The list of our advancements seems to keep increasing. There is no end to the possibilities in this world, and we have made it our mission to push beyond our limits in this world. Every other invention was made to provide us with more comfort, but today we face more drawbacks than we could ever imagine. With the invention of such gadgets, we have also created a world where we barely have time for ourselves. These advancements may have their own advantages, but every advantage in this world comes up with a disadvantage on the side. Otherwise, the word ‘advantage’ itself would lose its meaning. And we, humans, are all about trying to keep the meaning intact in every field of life.
Regardless of which country, city, or nation we belong to, all of us are busy trying to catch up with the pace of this world. Sometimes it feels as if this world is getting ahead of us, and we have to keep running in our lives so that we are not the only ones who are left behind.
Time has become scarce to the point where we cannot even catch our breaths or momentarily take a break from our busy schedules. Living such a fast-paced life in a continuously progressing world has led to several problems that we overlook today.
These problems are often overlooked only because none of us really have the time to catch a break and allow our minds to wander toward things that matter the most. We have inhabited these problems in our lives and have made them a part of our lifestyle. One of the most problematic habits we have developed today is eating food that provides us with minimal nutritional value. We are constantly searching for numerous ways to make cooking a quick process just to satiate our hunger. From microwavable foods to fast-foods and to junk-foods, we have come up with quick remedial methods to ‘save time’ at the expense of sacrificing our nutritional health. We opt for fast food because we tell ourselves that we do not have enough time. Most of the time, we get lazy while preparing our food after having a hard day.
We tell ourselves that we can spend the time we waste on cooking food by doing some other important task without realizing how important meal preparations really are. What is the point of saving your time if you are cutting down your lifespan with the intake of food that provides you with zero nutritional value? What is the point of saving your time if you are not going to spend it in the future?
Sometimes, we eat junk food in order to fulfill our ‘cravings,’ and sadly, for most people, junk food is the only type of food they can afford on their budgets. However, we all need to realize that the food we eat directly impacts our bodies. You are what you eat, and if you have picked up this book, then it probably means that you want to eat healthily. We all know what happens to our bodies when we eat unhealthy food. Fat starts depositing in different parts of the body, and there is a visible change in our physical appearance. But what matters the most is the chemical changes that take place inside our bodies. We widely believe that the only process that takes place in our body due to
