Joanne's God Happenings: Believe It or Not
()
About this ebook
You don't know me from Adam or Eve, but you will after you read this book. God has been after me since childhood. I have felt His presence very heavily during much of my life, and there hasn't really been anyone else worth talking to about it--no one around who could relate as I could. Or no one who would let go of their inhibitions and talk openly about God in their lives to the point I'd know they were real in the Lord. These pages are me, real in the Lord--whether you believe them or not does not matter to me. What matters to me is that I write them as the Lord, and I lived them. At this point of beginning, I don't see myself writing of "God's happenings" as they occurred chronologically, but as the Spirit solicits me. And I have given Him my will to do so. Come, Lord Jesus, and let's do the will of our Father, together.

One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after, that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to enquire in His temple.
And, no one or thing, will keep me from being there now.
—Psalm 27:4
Which came first, the chicken or the egg? Most times in my life, it's been the egg, for growth.
About three-quarters away from our last time together, when Ed was feeling and acting ornery, with me just sitting there looking at him scrunching up my face and eyebrows, he said, You're a wonderful woman.
I was surprised and said, Others might have thought that, but you are the first one to say that to my face. Thank you, Ed.
About two different times, Ed looked directly into me and said, You're married.
I said, No, you know I'm not married. Never have been. He was murdered.
He just gave me that cute smile, nodding.
Oh yes,
he signifies.
I just couldn't get it through to him. I miss him and Chewey, especially after sharing in on his visit by Jesus.
My friend was highly intelligent with a scientific mind, dyslexic, obsessive-compulsive, and with dementia in an Alzheimer's disease unit of a Lutheran community. He was a Catholic from Our Lady of Grace Church, unfamiliar with the Scripture, because he didn't believe it. He said it sounded like a fairy tale. I told him, Yes, it does.
But I have realized some of it—not all—yet, but some, so I know it's true. After nine months of spiritually (and then physically) feeding him, the Holy Spirit through the Word of God led me to read the Gospel of St.
