About the Author
But even the very hairs on your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.

Introduction
No, I was not a movie star or a famous person, but God knew me just as well. I was just one of God's children like we all are. This is my story of how the system can change a child's life forever without regard for their feeling and render them helpless to do anything about it. Yet with God's help, I made it through without hate or malice or vengeance. During my life, I have learned that we need more Christians to make this a better world. Even though we can do miraculous things and the world has become so advanced in so many ways, too often God's will is lost in greed, lust, love of money, and selfishness. We have become forgetful of why God gave us life in the first place. If I, an unknown, can make it with God's help, surely we all can! We need orphanages in every state. It's a solution for helping children that do need help and more do than one realizes.

He was a wonderful man.
My dear little gramps came to this country when he was only seventeen. He could not speak much English at all. He loved America, worked very hard to be a good American, was very grateful to be here, and retired from the railroad. He helped my mother care for us and provided for us financially because Mom didn't work outside the home. He felt that a big part of the responsibility was his, just as if
