About this ebook

Through the state of our changing world and her own identity crisis and search for answers and truth Leda has delved into examining what our human identity is comprised of and where the missing piece lies as humanity continues to struggle personally and collectively. This book addresses in a simple and straightforward manner the loss of self-identity facing our society today and the myriad of traumas, disconnection, and separation it causes. It explores how we got here and how we missed a vital mark in our human trinity - mind, body, spirit. It makes the case for our spiritual identity beyond religion as our foundational truth and governing body and teaches us how to re-connect to this internal part of ourselves that is omni-present and a source of wisdom and guidance. Through the guided explanations the book sets the stage to brings us back home to our authentic selves. As the first book in the series, The Human Case of Mistaken Identity, Me, Myself, and I, sets up the theme for the coming in-depth books to follow.

    Introduction

What it is like to be a child of identity theft? Let me tell you what that looks like and what it feels like. It’s the ultimate and highest form of rejection. It’s not being seen or heard, a pervasive sense of invisibility. It’s realizing that not only does your presence not matter, but when it’s noticed it’s more of a hindrance than anything else. It’s being de-valued in every which way possible – physically, emotionally, mentally, socially. It’s being verbally abused, in the most subtle of ways and under the guise of I love you, that’s why I’m telling you the truth of how it is. It’s being labeled, pigeon-holed, beaten down, diminished spiritually until you realize you are nothing. You finally come to believe that you have no inherent value, that your only value derives from pleasing others and being all things to all people so that you will be liked and approved of. You exist in a constant state of I am not good enough. You trust yourself not at all, so you constantly look outside of yourself for validation and guidance. You constantly give your power away. But worst of all, you do not even realize this is all happening to you because it happens so slowly and most times so subtly as a plane flying just under the radar.

What do you feel like? Like you’ve been stolen…as if someone snatched you right out of your body slowly but surely, bit by bit, a piece here, a piece there. Your
