The squire sat alone in the stables, replaying the events of the previous night in his mind. He couldn't believe what he had done, or what he had felt. His body had reacted to the stable boy's touch in a way he had never experienced before, and it had left him feeling confused and scared.

What's on your mind? a soft voice interrupted his thoughts.

The squire looked up to see the stable boy standing in front of him, a gentle smile on his face.

It's nothing, he muttered, refusing to meet the boy's eyes.

The stable boy sat beside him, placing a hand on his knee. I saw the way you reacted last night, he said softly. I know you're confused, but it's okay. You don't have to be afraid.

The squire couldn't help but look at him then, seeing the kindness and compassion in his eyes. He felt a strange warmth in his chest, and suddenly he knew what he wanted.

Without another thought, he leaned in and kissed the stable boy, tentatively at first, and then with more passion as the boy responded eagerly.

However, their moment of passion was short-lived when they were caught in their intimate moment by the lord of the manor.

What is the meaning of this? the lord bellowed. I will not have such depravity under my roof!

The stable boy hung his head in shame, his hand still on the squire's leg. But the squire found his voice, speaking out for the first time in his life.

What we share is none of your business, he said firmly, standing up and facing the lord. I will not be ashamed of who I am.

The lord was furious, his face turning red with anger. You insolent boy! he roared, advancing on the squire. How dare you speak to me in such a way!

But the squire stood his ground, his heart pounding in his chest. He knew what he wanted, and he refused to let anyone stand in his way.

With one final glare, the lord stormed out of the stables, leaving the squire and the stable boy alone.

You were amazing, the stable boy said softly, his eyes shining with admiration.

The squire smiled, feeling a sense of elation wash over him. For the first time in his life, he felt truly alive, and he knew that he had a long journey ahead of him. However, he was ready to face whatever challenges came his way, as long as he had his newfound love by his side.
