The new Guy

Jamie just started a new job. He's been looking forward to some changes in his life. His long term relationship has been going through a difficult and confusing slump the last few years. He doesn't know what will happen to it but for now a fast paced, high pressure challenging work life is what he's looking for, hoping it could distract him from his personal problem which he has yet found a solution to.

On his first day, Jamie was introduced to the team he'll be working with on the company's big important project.

Wow this is a big team. I'm so glad to meet everyone and excited to start, said the bright-eyed enthusiastic Jamie.

Oh no you haven't met everyone. Milly is not here today. She's on leave but she'll be back in the office tomorrow. You'll be working closely with her and she'll run you through the progress of our project. For today, you'll be busy with HR training and filling in forms so don't get too excited, said the project manager.
