The Patient

We are all sinners

In our own private worlds,

Toying with vice with a whirl,

Like trampolines when we finally come down,

Back to the sinner's high we all feel.

But Allah's truth will always be revealed.

We cannot continue forever,

Except in eternal pleasure or pain.

This world is fleeting, depleting

Our life with every second in vain.

Allah's Prophet (SAW) came with the message

To the sinners amongst mankind,

Of guidance from the Lord Most High,

A Lord we forget except in hard times.
