The Healing Hearts Ranch series starts with The Letter Left (Book 1) – Raine Willows left her grandfather’s farm to find her way in life. His death brought her back to the farm and her first love–Luke Daniels. Grief reunites them, horses help heal their hearts, and gives them an idea to help others. The letter Jack Willows left, changed the direction of his granddaughter’s life and her heart.

Harvest Homecoming (Book 2) continues the wholesome saga as the lazy-hazy days of summer give way to shorter days and endless views of vibrant colors during the town’s harvest festivities. Introducing Crystal Creek High’s seniors, a horse show, and a promposal to the homecoming dance. Love is in the air as the festivities begin but a past romantic issue arises and may affect the opening of the ranch.

Meet the Folks of Crystal Creek

Raine Willows – Inherited the farm from her grandfather ‘Gramps’ (Jack Willows) and renovated it into the Healing Hearts Ranch for therapeutic riding. Engaged to Luke Daniels.

Luke Daniels – Grew up on the farm next door to Raine and Jack. He’s ex-military (Special Ops). Engaged to Raine Willows.

Tom and Ellen Baker – Tom is the town’s lawyer. He and his wife, Ellen, never had children. Ellen inherited her family’s wealth and is the silent investor in the Healing Hearts Ranch.

Sandra & Ken Bentley – Sandra is Crystal Creek’s Mayor, married to Crystal Creek High’s football coach. They have one teenage son, Todd.

Betty Bentley – Ken Bentley’s mother, and long-time best friend to Eva Denny.

Eva Denny – Long-time best friend to Betty Bentley.

Dr. Pam Whitfield – New to town – Healing Hearts Ranch’s Equine Therapist. Dating Jackson Knox. Known to the locals as ‘Dr. Pam’.

Kelly Brannan – New to town – Healing Hearts Ranch’s Head Therapeutic Riding Instructor. Olympic gold-medallist and European Show Jumper Champion.

Cassidy Evans – Crystal Creek High Senior, volunteer at Healing Hearts Ranch, and Show Jumping competitor; as well as Equestrian Vaulting entertainer (gymnastics and dance on horseback) paired with her best friend, Kaitlyn. Dating Ben Miller.

Kaitlyn Janes – Crystal Creek High Senior, volunteer at Healing Hearts Ranch and Equestrian Vaulting entertainer paired with her best friend, Cassidy. Dating Todd Bentley.

Jackson Knox – Owner of Knox Farms and host of Crystal Creek’s October Fest as part of the harvest festivities. Also runs the town’s produce store, adjacent to his sister Maggie’s diner. Dating ‘Dr. Pam’.

Maggie Anderson – Owner of the town’s diner – Maggie’s. Married to Dr. Carter Anderson and sister to Jackson Knox.

Dr. Carter Anderson – Crystal Creek’s doctor. Married to Maggie (Knox) Anderson.

Jeff Richards – Friend of Luke Daniels from the Military Special Ops brigade and Healing Hearts Ranch’s first guest.
