DJ AI shepherds me through vales.

    The yard dogs are howling

    at a stray kitten.

Light purple and white lilacs are disrobing

    for the lanterns,

    buzzing their ghost tales

    glitch by painful glitch.

Madam Birch is silent in the moonlight,

its vivre plays dead for the whirlwind.

Behind closed doors we are carnally charred,

Beltaine’s sweet juices harmonising with the veins.

    Spring lives fast,

    and dies

    in vain.

At the bazaar, they now press pomegranets..

Red tears of love smeared against the misty walls

    of cheap plastic cups

and you trust the tender, before

pressing the soul out of the hundreds of sweet hells,

    washed their hands.

    Such times!
