Fenrir is the only divine being who has stuck around on Earth. In the modern day, he goes to a furry convention and mixes with the crowd in various furry and human forms. At a gay pup event, he's approached by a couple he takes a liking to. He recruits them for a demonstration warning about out of control alpha pups. The night ends with both men in Fenrir's guts, to be forever changed when he lets them out.

On the first floor of the Kansas City convention center, there weren’t many obvious pieces of clothes on the majority of convention goers. Why would they? After all, they milled about in the bright colors of their fursuits. Anthropomorphic foxes, wolves, and cats showed off their coats and tails. They laughed and projected through their thick masks. Some of them were only partially in costume, heads or hands or pants discarded somewhere in the many rooms available to the attendees of EarCon.
The rare fursuit had its own outfit. There was a dapper otter in a suit who sold his character as a special agent of some sort. A rabbit played with the misspelled beauty pageant sash slung over her shoulder. Most of the clothes worn indicated something about the character. That truism did not hold true, though, for a large and rotund wolf whose white fur was tipped in reds and electric purples. He wore a pair of basketball shorts with a hole in
