      CHAPTER 1

      A SEAT AT THE TABLE

      Bumblebee was watching Twitch, Thrash, Hashtag, Nightshade, and Jawbreaker playing tag outside the barn on the Malto family farm when Thrash said, Everybody freeze!

      All five Terrans stopped suddenly. Bumblebee said, What’s wrong?

      Thrash said, This game would be more fun if Mo and Robby joined in.

      Nightshade said, I believe they are still partaking in their evening meal.

      It’s too bad we don’t eat food, Twitch said. Then we could join them.

      But we’re family too, Thrash said. We should be with them, even if we don’t eat!

      Let’s see if they’re finished, Hashtag said.
