I wonder what it could be…

Our story is set in the desert sands

Of Egypt (most ancient and awesome of lands) –

A wonderful country of camels and Kings,

Of Scorpions, Beetles…and more bitey things!

Just outside Cairo, there is a Metropolis -

A city the citizens call Heliopolis;

Down there, in the dust and the bustle and heat,

Mister Doggerel Barker is crossing the street.

The Museum of Cairo is his destination,

(He’s striding there quickly, without hesitation);

When he gets there, he’s sure to be searching for clues

Which will help solve the case that has been in the news:

(Last week, at The Museum, there was a break-in!

The Mask of King Tutankhamun has been taken!)

Oh, look! Doggerel’s reached The Museum front door!

After the paws we’ll be back with much more!
