    Why Spiritual Growth is Important

    After salvation, one should have a strong quest to grow up spiritually. Spiritual growth is the process of becoming more and more like Jesus Christ. It is the will of God that we grow up spiritually to become more like Jesus Christ. God wants us to be conformed to the image of His Son. Simply put, we are to grow in our walk with God until we become like Christ through the help of the Holy Spirit. This is the ultimate goal of the salvation experience.

    For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
