Introduction

Acts 17:11

T

hese Bereans (or Jews), were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word of God with all readiness of mind, searching and examining the scriptures daily, to see if these things were so. It would be beneficial, if we the people of God had that same attitude.

There are a lot of different things being said, and many different teachings. I understand that we have different revelations, and insights, but some of these insights, and revelations can be misleading.

There are many insights, and revelations: but only one absolute truth! There are many questionable opinions: but only one absolute fact!

So I have learned to study to show myself approved unto God, because therein lies the absolute truth.

According to the Truth, I can refute some of these teachings that are misleading. (RSV) 1st. John 2:26 & 27, Brother John is telling us, that he’s writing this to you, or (us) about those who would deceive you; but the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you have no need that anyone should teach you; as His anointing teaches you about everything, and is true, and is no lie, just as it has taught you, abide in Him.

Referring to the Spirit, teaching us all things that are true: The Spirit gave us a ‘Rhema’ prophecy, in 1st. Timothy 4:1&2 saying, "Now the Spirit expressly says; that in later times some will depart from the faith, by giving heed to deceitful or seducing spirits, and doctrines of demons, through the pretensions of liars whose consciences are seared...!

Talking about seducing spirits! This so called Charismatic, prosperity, or Faith movement has left a trend of transgressors.

They even got so deep; they began to contradict themselves. They would say, we walk by faith, and not by sight; then you will hear them say, Peter began to sink when he took his eyes off Jesus. Well,- that would be walking by sight!

This one person wrote a book, titled (Woman thou art loosed). That was, and is, a seducing spirit, and look who he’s targeting, (The woman). Now we have thousands of women lying on God, saying God called them to preach.

I will deal more with that under the topic, (The Judgment). But for now, I will start by refuting this so called Gap Theory.

Chapter One

The Gap Theory

T

here are some, who teaches that; there was a thousand year gap in Genesis chapter one, between verses 1&2. They claim, this is the results of Satan being cast out of heaven; causing chaos, confusion, and disorder.

These teachers agree that God created the Heavens, and the Earth, but it was destroyed when Satan was cast out of heaven. Which is not true!

One minister said, God doesn’t create anything void, and how can he create darkness, if there’s no darkness in him? They didn’t stop there, they used one more scripture to try and prove a point.

Genesis 1:28, And God blessed them, and said unto them be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it. I guess they were confused by the word replenish, because they are saying it means to refill.

Let’s see what the truth has to say about all of that!

God the Father created the Heavens, and the Earth, and they are right on this one issue, He doesn’t make anything void.

Is it so hard to believe it was dark because God hadn’t spoken the sun, moon, and stars into existence, and it was void or empty because God hadn’t put anything on it yet?

The term replenish: If you look at the Hebrew definition, you will find the word (maw-law), it means: to fill or be full of. Maybe that is too simple for some.

Maybe they are basing it on 2nd Peter 3:8 which says, Be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

Maybe they are basing it on, Psalm 90:4 It says, For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is pasted, and as a watch in the night.

You must understand those scriptures, are talking about God, and time is not a factor to Him. The truth is, time is a factor to us, and if you notice, when He was creating the world; He made it clear, that it was six literal days by stating, "The evening, and the morning was the first day.

Exodus 20:11 says, For in six days the Lord made the heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested on the seventh day.

If you carefully read Genesis chapter one, you will see that it is God’s Blueprint; for his creation.

Chapter two, you will see God bringing everything into fruition.

Satan doesn’t come on the scene, until chapter three, and without that understanding, you might come up with something that’s inaccurate.
