About the Author
H. A. McKinley was born in Jamaica, West Indies. She became a naturalized U.S. citizen in 1999 and currently resides in Mount Vernon, New York. McKinley recently retired from many years of working in elementary education, where she enjoyed working with younger students. She also has loved writing as a hobby since she was a child. McKinley also believes that delayed or repressed passion may become dormant but never dies. She is a graduate of Sam Sharpe Teachers College in Jamaica, West Indies and earned a BA from the College of New Rochelle, New York.

Note to Reader

The bible is an amazing book which holds wisdom and truth. It is the blueprint to guide us through every aspect of life. Each time I study the bible something new is revealed to me. When you read the bible with diligence and an open mind the true character of God is revealed.

The bible is indeed the inspired word of God. There are hidden treasures between the covers. It took me a long time before I realized that I had the key to the journal of instructions to a joyous and purposeful life.

I encourage anyone who opens this book to seek the Lord, Jeremiah 29: 13 says that when you seek Him with all your heart you will find Him. It is a beautiful thing when you meet God and learn to walk with Him daily. I am motivated to write my impressions about the love of the great God of the universe. It is my desire that it will have a positive impact on somebody.

This book has two sections: Part one focuses on our relationship with God. His amazing inexhaustible love and His faithfulness towards mankind. Part two includes prose and poetry that I have written over time. Some of it has been inspired by my personal life experience, and others just happened. If I can be even a flickering candle on this journey called life and lead even one person to salvation in Jesus Christ, it will be worthwhile. May God bless you.
