About this ebook

A medical misdiagnosis.  A cascade of compounding errors made by the medical industry. Was it deliberate? I certainly believe so, orchestrated by the pharmaceutical industry. So where do we go from here?

    AUTHOR’S NOTE

I noticed that when I was to answer my clients when they were questioning me as to why I was in a wheelchair, I would tell them this story and it was not uncommon for them to have a tear in their eyes yet by the time they were walking out the front door both of us would be laughing so hard our sides would ache, but when I questioned them later as to how and what made them laugh with said ‘even though what you went through was horrible, it is what you were thinking at the time that made us laugh and hopefully this book/documentary will do the same for you.

I contacted a woman with a view to employing her to edit this book and she commented on how the book should reflect words that the American market will understand. WTF? I figure that the American market are well conditioned as to how us Aussies think and speak. After all they have taken the likes of Steve Irwin, Russell Crowe, Dame Edna Everage and my all-time favourite Hugh Jackman into their hearts so I won’t be as condescending to think that our USA compatriots won’t understand me.

Accordingly, please note that any print that is in subscript italics denotes what I was actually thinking at that particular moment.

This book/documentary isn’t long, it is short and to the point. I’ll could rave on but I have found during my time sitting on my arse, a lot of people are so busy with their lives (as I was) they need or want information preferably in a condensed format. So, if you think this book/documentary is presenting itself as ‘rough and ready that’s because it is. I should have finished it a long long time ago but it seemed that as soon as I was ready to get it organized to publish online, the doctors would do or say something so damn ridiculous I had to put off downloading this book until I could see the outcome of their latest deed. Ultimately this book is going to be extremely embarrassing for the medical profession LOL. But honestly after 20 years I don’t give a fat rat’s freckle whether they’re embarrassed or not. I am sure that there are classes the affected doctors can attend……. you know the classes under the heading of Learning how to Harden The Fuck Up For The Uniniated"

So, readers hold on for the rollercoaster literary 3-D style ride of your life. If any readers are fans of the celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay, I would say that I’m the female equivalent and this book , I hope you enjoy however if you feel that you might be offended by any intended or unintended swearword, then don’t buy my book. ☺

    PROLOGUE

It was the thump on the right-hand side of my head that woke me gasping for air. I felt that I had been holding my breath way too long and the fact that my bladder was quite full I woke my husband telling him that I had to go to the toilet. He said well go to which I replied but honey I can’t I’m paralyzed, I can’t move. Maybe the doctors were right, maybe I do have the start of MS.

And that began my journey through the labyrinth of doctors, medical tests and pointless discussions with doctors that wouldn’t listen to anything I said, right through to the final nail in the coffin when I was refused rehabilitation because they insisted that I had multiple sclerosis simply, because a machine said so.

There were 2 different verdicts, but to get the doctors working together, it simply WASN’T A HAPPENING THING! They were more interested in proving who was right & who was wrong and who could benefit the most out of my predicament INSTEAD of finding out how I could benefit. They were like grown men arguing: -

    I’m right,

    No, I’m right

Oh fine, let’s call a truce and call in the troops – A radiologist, they’ll have the answers.

While all the doctors disagreed, argued and agreed to have meetings about my case, there was little old me standing on the sideline screaming and waving my arms around saying to my husband they are making me feel like Where’s Wally, they seem to be hearing me, but they are not listening…… it’s as if they can’t see me!

And did the radiologist make a difference?....... hell no. lol.
