Sometimes I really hate being the manager of this hotel. The staff are a bunch of fuck wits most of the time and I really don't have time to listen to them complaining about doing their jobs. If I had the power I would have fired them all a long time ago. Most of them don't even care that my job is the biggest of all of them. I have to make sure the hotel is pulling in enough money to stay afloat, enough money to pay all of them. Tips don't get you very far in New York City and they should all know that. So really it's in their best interest to do their job well and keep their clients happy.

I’m the one who has to deal with guests complaining about how long it took to get their requested room boy up to the room or how whoever it was didn't seem interested in having sex, or how so-and-so has a weird tattoo that the client didn't like. I can't please everyone!

I know what all the employees think of me anyway. Most of them think I'm an uptight asshole who is just there to ride them hard to get things done around here. That's partially true, but it's also true that not a single one of them would do their job correctly if it wasn't for me. I'm the one who gets them up and keeps them moving, who keeps track of their stats so they know how well they're doing every month.
