Osbertine Pierre

Osbertine Pierre is an advocate of physical and spiritual well-being. She is a pastor's daughter who grew up in church listening to various teachings on sins, condemnation, and redemption. Her curiosity on how God operates and her personal experience with His wrath, grace, and love has led her to this inimitable relationship with God. She is determined to encourage God's children not to be afraid of His justice but to instead create a relationship with Him through faith so He might teach them the immensity of His love.

    Dedication

I dedicate this book to my sister and friend, Jesumene Pierre. For believing that I could write a book when I could not believe in myself. For encouraging me when I wanted to give up. For fervently praying for me and for every soul connected to this book. To every child of God in need of grace, love, peace, and forgiveness while facing the consequences of breaking earthly or heavenly rules.

    Acknowledgment

I want to thank the King who saved me when I was a wretch, the spouse who chose me when I was unqualified, and the God who loved me when I was living in disobedience. I am grateful that He chose me, the lowest of the lows, to entrust an assignment that is bigger than my capacity, capability, qualification, and background. Praise, glory, and honor be forever and ever to Him.

Thank you to my parents who planted the seed of God’s word in my heart and guided me on a path that would allow it to grow. Thank you for being the definition of love, patience, sacrifice, and commitment.

Thank you to my siblings (Joujou, Os, Daph, and Pouch) who have been the most constant and consistent part of my life. Thank you for sharing all the good times and for making sad, bad, hard, and dark times feel like good times. Thank you to all other family members for your love and support.

Thank you to Roby who has taught me more than I thought I needed to learn in life and brought an incomparable joy to my life. I hope you never get lost in life, but if you ever do, may you always find God when you cannot find your way. Thank you to all my other babies who have brought so much joy to my life.

Thank you to every obedient minister of God who have allowed God to use you to teach me, guide me, rebuke me, encourage me, and strengthen me through prayers, songs, and sermons. Thank you for teaching through confusion, serving through frustration, and encouraging in despair.

Thank you to all my friends whose loyalty has made you part of my family. I would not do life without any of you for I would not be me without you.

A special thank you to every intercessor who is part of the secret army of God. For praying for others when your own requests are not been granted. For praying when everyone thinks you are drunk, playing, or sleeping. For praying when you do not feel like it. And, most importantly, for praying when nobody’s watching.

Thank you to Ashley, Rhonda, Grace and all the other members of the TBN staff.

A special thank you to Gregory Noel for his support.

    About the Author

I am Osbertine Pierre. I was designed by God in eternity, carefully stored in my father’s epididymis, fashionably placed in my mother’s womb, and born a woman. I am one of God’s favorite pieces of art. I am a daughter. I am a sister. I am a mother. I am a wife. I am a cousin. I am a niece. I am a friend. I am an aunt. I am a classmate. I am a coworker. I am a neighbor.

These are the things that are always true and constant about me. I am not my past, I am not my present, I am not my future. I am simultaneously my past, my present, my future. I was, I am, I always will carry the nature of the God I was formed by and the environment I was built in, and that is ETERNAL.

    Introduction

I am not a writer; I am just a favored sinner and an obedient daughter who has one clear and specific duty from God my Father. That mission is to acquaint His children that since eternity for eternity He Hates sin as much as He loves sinners. He has charged me to convey this message to two specific groups of people.

First, He wants me to inform sinners that they are saints. It might sound crazy to us now, but if we would give Him some time, just a little time to show us who we really are in His eyes, we would shortly realize that we are not what and who we think we are. Secondly, He wants me to convict or remind saints that they are sinners. It might sound absurd to us but if we humble ourselves enough, we will remember who and what we used to be before God’s grace found us. In other words, I have one and only one assignment; Informing sinners that they are saints and reminding saints that they are sinners for who we were in the past and who we will be in the future can be found in a blank page God chooses to write a new story in the present.

Therefore, if you have ever felt or currently feel lost, depressed, empty, trapped, stuck, frustrated, angry, sad, tired, dirty, purposeless, unworthy, worried, anxious, weak, unfit, unqualified, hopeless, helpless, suffocated, ashamed, invisible, or simply and plainly dead, you are a good candidate for what God wants to do in this hour. If you were born in a messy situation or environment, if you feel like your life ended before you started living, or if you are the one who created the mess you are in, you are a good candidate for what God wants to do in this hour. If your bad thoughts are too many for your
