    Chapter 1

Before I dive into the meet of the matter concerning Islam, I would like to take this moment to introduce to you the Good news of Jesus Christ if you do not mind.

Jesus came with good news which he had predicted through the mouth of his prophets in ancient times before he was ever born to this world through a virgin called Marry. This good news is one that all people can benefit from. It is about what Jesus Christ came to do for us and he will do for us later. It is a news that will never harm us in away. It is a news that will do us a lot of good. In fact, it will save us. Paul said I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ because it is the power of God to save those of us who believe. Romans 1:16

If a person does not believe in the Good News of Christ there is no way that person will be saved! In fact, our Lord Jesus said he who believes and is baptized shall be saved. Mark 16:16

When the apostles talked about the good news, they were talking about the things Jesus came and done for us such as healing the sick, causing the blind to see, bringing the dead back to life, preaching the word of God to the poor, make those who cannot walk, walk again and dying a terrible death on the cross so that we can become right before God and be saved from the punishment that is to come on evil and wicked people. Matthew 11:4-5.

All this was God’s plan. He had planned this long before the world was created. He knew that mankind would go astray due to Satan’s jealousy. But he had already had our Lord in his thought to be the ultimate sacrifice for us.

And the mere fact that Christ came into the world has no value until he performed what he came to do.

To some, the death of Christ on the cross to save mankind is foolishness and to others it brings an offense 1 Corinthians 1:22,It is foolish to the Jews, who ask for signs from heaven. And it is foolish to the Greeks, who seek human wisdom.

Because someone dying on the cross to save us is something that is unimaginable, they do not believe it. But the reason why he chose this medium to rescue us is catch the wise in their own craftiness. I Corinthians 3:17

For the wisdom of this world is foolishness in God's sight. As it is written: He catches the wise in their craftiness"

    And in Job 5:13,

He catches the wise in their craftiness, and the schemes of the wily are swept away.

Man plan and make their own rules and regulations but God is the one who rule the world. And make his laws. It is to him we must look toward to save us and to help in every way. In his letter to the Corinthians, Paul told them the reason why God chose the foolish things of this world. And that is to put to shame those who consider themselves wise.

1 Corinthians 1:27 says,  Instead, God chose things the world considers foolish in order to shame those who think they are wise. And he chose things that are powerless to shame those who are powerful.

No other person can save us. No earthly person or angel can save us. We make the mistake in thinking that because we make a person holy or consider him or her holy then he can save us. We die for that person and we kill for that person not knowing that that person will have to face the creator to answer for himself as to why he deceived others, etc..

The Psalmist made it clear that it is the Lord who rescues people and not we ourselves. We do not have that ability to do that. This is what he say,

Psalm 96:  Sing to the Lord; bless his name. Each day proclaim the good news that he saves.

God wants to save us because of his love for us his creation and that is why he gave his only born son. In John 3:16 it says,  God shows the world that he loves the world so much by sending Jesus Christ our Lord to die for us.

He recognized that we cannot save ourselves that is why he send the messiah whom he called his son. He called him son because he loves righteousness and hates wickedness, Hebrews 1:9

You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness; therefore God, your God, has set you above your companions by anointing you with the oil of joy..

Jesus became God’s son because God willed it so. He said today I have become your father Psalm 2:7.

God willed this to save this world. That is the way he had it and no matter how much we may fight against his plans it will still be the same until the day we go before Jesus Christ, the judge.

God demonstrated his love toward us by having his son, Jesus, dying on the Cross to save us.

    But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8 It was God’s plan to have our Lord and creator to come and die for us: Hebrews 10:5-12;

Therefore, when Christ came into the world, he said: Sacrifice and offering you did not desire, but a body you prepared for me; with burnt offerings and sin offerings you were not pleased. Then I said, 'Here I am—it is written about me in the scroll—I have come to do your will, my God.'"

And in Hebrews 9:12 says,He did not enter by means of the blood of goats and calves; but he entered the Most Holy Place once for all by his own blood, thus obtaining eternal redemption.

And verse 15 says, For this reason Christ is the mediator of a new covenant, that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance—now that he has died as a ransom to set them free from the sins committed under the first covenant.

In John 3:16 when John said God gave up his son, it simply means that God offered up his son as a sin offering for us. The world was in a state of sin brought on by Adam and Eve and Jesus Christ came to correct it by his death on the cross, which result we will see the day he return to judge the world.

Just in case you may be wondering what is sin. Sin is the breaking of God’s law. And, Adam and Eve broke God’s covenant Hosea 6:7,But like Adam, you broke my covenant and betrayed my trust.

We betrayed God’s trust when we refuse his ways and make up our own rules and other than following him and his plan for all mankind through his son Jesus Christ.

When Adam sinned against God, it brought death into the world. It was not God’s intention for any of us to die. It was Satan’s evil desire to do that to us. He deceived Eve and caused her to persuade her husband, Adam, to sin against God.

God wants us to live a life free from death and suffering but because of Adam’s sin, we cannot escape the pains and suffering of this world until the day he send his son to judge the world.

We can free ourselves from the curse of the law of sin which is the law of Satan. God wants to free us from Satan and his destructive laws. But he cannot do that without you first making the step toward him and take a hold of salvation through his son, Jesus. God said that there is no other rock of salvation. Isaiah 43:11

I, even I, am the LORD, and apart from me there is no savior.

And in another passage he said, There is no other that is given by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12

Some people want peace but when God restores all things, then and only then will we experience peace and life that will never end. But this is only for those who do the Lord’s will. Those who do not do the Lord’s will, will have to face the dreadful fire that has been prepared for Satan and his angels. Matthew 25:41,Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.

God does not want any of us to go into this lake of fire, but because of our wickedness he places us there. When we follow manmade rules and follow rules made up by angels, especially by fallen angels, we will find ourselves in that lake of fire. Some people may say Jesus takes a long time or he does not exist but,

2 Peter 3:9 States, The Lord isn't really being slow about his promise, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent.

That is the loving God we serve. He knows the pains that this hell fire brings. It is the worst pain a person can ever feel.

A whole lot of people will be in this place and is heading there as we speak. In fact, the bible says that after death then the Judgment-Hebrews 9:27 And just as each person is destined to die once and after that comes judgment.

So in spite of the good intention God has for us, some will have to go into the lake of fire to face their punishment because when they were alive, they lived their lives in disobedience to the will of God.

The Gospel is supposed to save us yes but only those who believe. It is a good thing for Christ to come and die for us but God’s saving grace can only reach thus far.

God had sent for many fishers to go into the world and catch people because he wants all to be saved. As Jeremiah 16:16 states,  But now I am sending for many fishermen who will catch them, says the LORD. I am sending for hunters who will hunt them down in the mountains, hills, and caves.

When Christ came into the world, God sent him to the lost house of Israel first to bless them in getting them to turn from their sins. Acts 3:26,When God raised up his servant, Jesus, he sent him first to you people of Israel, to bless you by turning each of you back from your sinful ways.

Even Jesus himself said it when he was conversing with the Canaanite woman in Matthew 15:22,

Then Jesus said to the woman, I was sent only to help God's lost sheep—the people of Israel."

God wants all people to benefit from his son’s death on the cross. He will not force anyone against his or her will but there is a consequence for refusing to accept his offer of redemption, which is punishment in hell fire Hebrews 2:3, So what makes us think we can escape if we ignore this great salvation that was first announced by the Lord Jesus himself and then delivered to us by those who heard him speak?

If Jesus himself came and announced this word of salvation to all, I know for certain that punishment will be severe for those who refuse to accept him as there only Lord and savior.

This is because God had done his part to show us how loving, caring, and long suffering he was with us. We have no excuse if we should hear the Gospel of Christ and refuse it as if it were just a story people made up.

God gives the bible to us so that we could see for ourselves what he has been doing for us and what he did to those who refused to do the right things.

Today we learn that some religion is going around teaching that Christ was not killed and he was not resurrected. This would only mean that if he was not killed then we are still in our sins and we would be found to be liars because we are going around saying that he was killed and was risen from the dead. This would also mean that we will not be saved from hell fire.

But since Jesus came and died for us, we can guarantee that we will have eternal life and be safe from the hell fire to come on all those who do not believe. Any religion the Lord does not establish will be rooted up and be thrown into the fire of hell Matthew 15:13

It is said that if the Lord is not the one to build the house that person who builds the house builds it in vain....Psalms 127:1

    Is Jesus only a prophet?

According to the Muslims Islam means submission to Allah. But to the Christians and according to Psalms 2:12 Submission to God’s son is a must because God the father ordered it so. Our Lord said his sheep hears his voice and will not follow any other voice John 10:27-30.

It is said that Allah means God which is the name of the almighty. But that is not true. His name is Yahweh Isaiah 42:8,

I am Yahweh, that is My name; I will not give My glory to another or My praise to idols.

Then in Exodus 3:15 When he was speaking to Moses he said that this is his name forever.

God also said to Moses, "Say to the Israelites, 'The LORD, the God of your father the God of

Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob—has sent me to you.' "This is my name forever,

the name you shall call me from generation to generation.

Some dictionaries has Allah to mean a false god, which I will get into with more details later down. But who Is Jesus? He is God’s son. According to Psalm 89:27 God said I will make him my first born son. And in Luke 3:22 God said to Jesus, You are my son."

God had decided to send Jesus into the world to save the world from sin and punishment to come. This was God’s plan long before the world was created. He had planned that the savior would be born into the world through a young girl without any man having sex with her which the people would see as a sign from him. Isaiah 7:14

¹⁴Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel."

Please note carefully that the word ‘Immanuel’ Means God is with us. And that is what God and Isaiah is saying. Jesus being God’s son is also God who will be among the people.

John 1:1 says In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Under the personal name Isa or Isa Son of Mary he is frequently called Al-Masih (Messiah) and at one time or another is also referred to as the Word of God, the Word of Truth, a Spirit from Him, the Messenger of God, the Prophet of God, and the Servant of God. He is even said to be illustrious in this world and the next and of those nearest to God (Surah 3:45).

Who is Jesus? He is King of Kings, Lord of Lords, and God of all gods. Rev. 17:14; John 18:37; Rev. 22:16.

He, God the father said, Jesus would be a glorious King Psalms 132:17-18.

And that he would come from the family of David Isaiah
