Move For You - Brigitte N. Cutshall
EXERCISE is maybe one of the most feared and intimidating words in the English language, but it doesn’t have to be. For me, Move for You book replaces the word exercise with MOVEMENT and the importance of improving my health, both mentally and physically, with simple movement. I wish I could say I'm an athlete and love to exercise.
What I am is someone who cares about myself, has a chronic illness and knows how important consistent movement is for my body, my physical and mental health. This book is a gentle reminder of how important I am and how vital movement is for our whole being.
~Kathleen Mullins, Associate Broker, W.C. Bradley Co. Real Estate
Brigitte’s motivational spirit and wisdom come from experience. Whether you choose to walk, run, skip or jump, Move for You is sure to inspire you to move your body and shift your life in positive and unexpected ways.
~Beth Ann Ramos, Author, Illustrator, Entrepreneur
Movement is such an integral part of a healthy lifestyle. Yet many people are not doing nearly enough. Especially people who are living with health challenges when movement becomes harder. There might be fear or pain involved, but that doesn’t make movement any less important. When I was going through my own cancer journey and treatment, I made changes to my diet and also set a goal to walk every day, and move my body, even when I felt the worst. Brigitte has had her own cancer journey and has overcome so much in her life and career, and credits much to an active lifestyle.
I strongly believe that the challenges we overcome empower us to teach and help others and I love how Brigitte is using her own experience with cancer and other challenges to help others live healthier, more active lifestyles. If this has been a challenge for you, then you need to get this book.
~Andy Storch, Author of Own Your Career Own Your Life
Brigitte Cutshall has created the guide to improving your happiness, improving your health, and improving your life. I’ve been saying this for years, Participation Matters, and Brigitte has laid out the framework as to why participation in your own health matters. The top three reasons I move and exercise are to (1) feel young, (2) keep aches and pains away, and (3) clear my mind of all the garbage that bombards me the rest of the day.
It has been inspiring to learn what Brigitte has overcome and how exercise was the cornerstone of not only her recovery, but also her mindset and approach to living her best daily. By the time you finish Brigitte’s book, you’ll discover the importance of movement in your life and elevate exercise from chore
to daily joy
you won’t ever want to miss.
~Chris Bystriansky, Bilateral hip replacement patient, 2-time IRONMAN, Author of NEW STEEL
"We tend to overcomplicate how to achieve the right mindset and reach our goals. In Move For You, Brigitte Cutshall simplifies the process by clearly demonstrating how movement is the key to physical, mental and emotional success. Her tone is personable and practical. Even though you have never had an extreme medical diagnosis like Brigitte, and she had three, you most likely have this in common with her: the desire to live life to its fullest. Brigitte’s story and advice are the perfect motivational mix."
~Mary Boza Crimmins, Author of Taking the Holy Spirit to Work
As the husband of a cancer survivor, I find Brigitte’s new book, Move For You, inspirational and motivational. She draws you into her story of overcoming the challenges of multiple cancer diagnoses, then nudges you out the door with practical, step-by-step prompts to take your first steps on the journey of finding meaning and purpose through movement.
~Perry Gabbard, Author of Stepping Out on an Adventure of Faith
Brigitte Cutshall should be an inspiration for all cancer survivors. In Move for You Brigitte incorporates her love for running with a motivational, informative treatise for lifelong health and fitness. Brigitte’s most recent book will encourage you to get fit, to stay positive, and to appreciate every minute of every day. Read it first…., and then start moving.
~Mike Stephens, Author, Retired Teacher/Running Coach, and 8-time Boston Marathon Finisher
