Introduction

This book is written on the sole purpose of helping those that are in an abusive relationship get out. It started out by the author being in a relationship and finally realizing it was not normal to be treated as such. It took close to ten years of twenty-two years of marriage to finally get the nerve to leave. She was broken, hurt, and angry. After each chapter, she realized she needed to get this out there with steps to help someone else leave an abusive relationship. She was one of the lucky ones, she walked away alive, some victims of abusive relationships don't, and others stay because of fear and no knowledge on how to escape. Read this with open eyes and an open heart, pass it on to anyone you know who is in an abusive relationship. If you do, you might just save their life!

Preface

You ask why I wrote Memoirs of a Fat Woman and dedicated it to all men? First and foremost, it's to inform men now that they need to stop abusing obese women, along with taking them for granted. I want them to know what they are missing when they walk by that pleasantly plump woman to get to the long, tall, good-looking, slender woman two seats down from the obese woman. Men, listen up! First and foremost, it is illegal to abuse anyone, and there is more to us obese women than just the shell we are living in. Read on!
