Ashley Inkwell is a complex personality, living in a complex world. After the death of her father, she is left to continue her life just with her mother, who was trying her best to keep Ashley alive. She suffered from severe depression and massive mood swings that showed in her lyrics. She began writing songs as a way to deal with her dark emotions. Later on, she chose the stage name of Shadow and began performing in her small town. Her transformation came along with a lot more challenges. One day, she found her mother laying on the sofa - lifeless. From that point on, Ashley's life became a never-ending rollercoaster of emotions. Will Ashley survive as Shadow? Will she reach her dawn?
