To My Readers-

The following list of short stories is the end result of a project I've wanted to start for some time.

As you will see, my hero is a WWII veteran who returns after the conflict to his home in St. Petersburg, Florida. Because of his service in the Shore Patrol, he is drawn naturally to police work with the Tampa P.D., where a friend of his father is Chief.

            Though his efforts don't lead to employment, he decides to establish himself as a Private Investigator, and the contents of this book are a record, a kind of log or diary, of his first ten cases.

            I hope you enjoy Joe Neely and will continue to embrace Frank Bass and the other characters in his circle of Frontier Justice.
