Within Darion, a young dragon, a fierce battle rages. Unable to understand why he can’t breathe fire and desperate to fit in, Darion deflects his anger on the one dragon that will do all in her power to help him.
Through stories within stories and worlds within worlds, Darion’s aunt Iridiana passes down the wisdom of the ancestors. Iridiana knows that Darion will find his own tribe, but first he must learn to let go of the pain and anger he carries within.
Iridiana shows Darion that even in the darkest times, life is a gift. Gifts can be found in unlikely places.
