Now You Know
This book will be an attempt to reveal to you the plans that were in motion before you and I were even born. We’re dealing with a very stubborn enemy that has no intentions of surrendering to God, nor is he ready to come into the reality of knowing that he’s fighting a lost battle. However, in every battle, there will always be spoils; there will be those who escape bomb blasts only to be taken out by snipers, those who escape snipers only to be poisoned by cold waters, and they’re those who will also go through this war and come out unharmed.
Every war that occurs is just a perfect execution of intended plans, sometimes inherited or bound by oaths. But we must not forget to acknowledge that every war you see going on is not coincidental; it has been planned decades ago. It is safe to say that wars are just the execution of dead men's wishes; this is my point of view, and you may have a different one, which I respect. But this book is not about me, nor is it about my perspective; it's about the truth behind our current reality—the confusions, the misunderstandings, bitterness, hurts, and unfair treatments. It's almost as though we don’t have a mind of our own. Indeed, we may actually not have one, but the question is, who’s in charge of yours?
God created us for His purpose, and everything that comes from God is and will always be perfect. When God created the earth, He didn’t just leave it at that; He made it a place that’s habitable, a place where growth was promoted, and man needed not to be afflicted because everything was in place.
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. And the earth was a formless and desolate emptiness, and darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the surface of the waters,God saw that the light was good; and God separated the light from the darkness. God called the light
day, and the darkness He called
night. And there was evening and there was morning, one day
Then God said, Let there be an expanse in the midst of the waters, and let it separate the waters from the waters.
God made the expanse, and separated the waters that were below the expanse from the waters that were above the expanse; and it was so. God called the expanse heaven.
And there was evening and there was morning, a second day.
Then God said, Let the waters below the heavens be gathered into one place, and let the dry land appear
; and it was so. And God called the dry land earth,
and the gathering of the waters He called seas
; and God saw that it was good. Then God said, Let the earth sprout vegetation, plants yielding seed, and fruit trees on the earth bearing fruit according to their kind with seed in them
; and it was so.
Genesis 1:1-11 (New American Standard Bible).
Before God created man all the tedious work needed in creating was already covered by God, all man had to do was to just maintain it and worship God, God said let there be this and there was, let there be that and it was, you could tell by the tone of his voice that there was some serious work on going and when these works were done to his perfection, God looked at it and he was very pleased.
God made the animals of the earth according to their kind, and the livestock according to their kind, and everything that crawls on the ground according to its kind; and God saw that it was good. Genesis 1:25 (New American Standard Bible).
God made sure that before he brought man in, everything made was Good, there were water, plants, animals, fruits. There was a serene environment and God made sure of it before anything else.
It was in a conducive environment that God decided to create man.
Then God said, Let Us make mankind in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the livestock and over all the earth, and over every crawling thing that crawls on the earth.
So, God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. God blessed them; and God said to them, Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it; and rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over every living thing that moves on the earth.
Genesis 1:26-28 (New American Standard Bible).
God's creation package came with empowerment. God didn’t just create man to be defenseless, man was created to be in charge. Humans have dominion over Earth, and demons hide because they lack inherent rights to be here. Seeking hosts is their way of practicing indirect rule. I learnt in Government study about Ghana, how the colonial masters ruled through the chiefs. That's the same scenario that demons are using today. We will get to that later.
God made it explicit when He created man, emphasizing man's potential to those around. Thus, every individual, regardless of wealth or status, has been empowered by God to take charge. The devil preys on our ignorance of this truth, but today, we'll expose him.
THE FAMILY
Remember man has been empowered by God to rule the earth and dominate it. As I mentioned earlier, no power or spirit has the right to roam the earth without a host. We're about to uncover a significant strategy that has existed from the beginning: the strategy of hosting.
When God created Adam, the first man, to oversee the activities on earth, Adam spent his days working tirelessly. Yet, during his moments of rest, he found himself alone. God knew unequivocally that Adam needed a partner.
Just in case you’re wondering how I knew that Adam had days off.
Thus, the heavens and the earth, and all the host of them, were finished. And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done. Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work which God had created and made.
Genesis 2:1-3 (NKJV).
You must always remember that God knows what you and I need, that was how Adam was given a companion. The very fact that Adam saw Eve and loved her at first sight alone indicates that God knows our needs down to the letter.
And Adam said:
"This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh... Genesis 2:23(NKJV).
Remember, God gave Adam a job before bringing a wife into the equation. If you lack a job, keep waiting on God and applying for jobs before considering marriage. A family is God's idea for growth and sustainability. That's why the first attack on mankind was his family.
Now the snake was more able to fool others than any animal of the field which the Lord God had made. He said to the woman, Did God say that you should not eat from any tree in the garden?
Then the woman said to the snake, "We may eat the fruit of the trees of the garden. But from the tree which is in the center of the garden, God has said, ‘Do not eat from it or touch it, or you will die.
Genesis 3:1-3(NKJV).
Indeed, the timing of the devil's deception was calculated. He waited for Eve to be alone, understanding that this timing would be conducive for his deceptive strategy to take effect. Isolation indeed holds a powerful sway. It's intriguing when someone professing Christianity claims they don't require a church to connect with God. The social and communal aspect often plays a crucial role in spiritual growth and understanding. The gathering of the saints is crucial because 'iron sharpens iron.' When the church was transparent, confession was also a core part of it. The Bible even admonishes us to make it a habit.
Therefore, make it your habit to confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.
James 5:16 (ISV)
Back to Isolation Eve was alone and the snake was the Host, notice the tactic he used on Eve,
Did God say that you should not eat from any tree in the garden?
. He asked the woman questions that he himself had answers to and the woman also replied "We may eat the fruit of the trees of the garden. But from the tree which is in the center of the garden, God has said, ‘Do not eat from it or touch it, or you will die.’
Eve inadvertently confirmed what the serpent already knew, and this exchange was part of a strategy to plant the seed of rebellion within her. What the serpent would say next to Eve might shock you if you consider its implications.
This was what he said to her in response to their conversation
The snake said to the woman, No, you for sure will not die!
Wait! Didn’t he ask earlier about the tree? I mean, ideally, questions are asked due to lack of knowledge pertaining things just so to be enlightened, but he assuredly told Eve that NO FOR SURE YOU WILL NOT DIE
giving the impression that he knew what Eve didn’t. Right there the seed of doubt was sown into the heart of Eve which didn’t manifest instantly.
He went further to be more direct with Eve by literally calling God a liar. Keep in mind, the strategy of your adversaries often doesn't come at you directly. If it did, you'd likely overcome it, as everyone possesses a natural defense mechanism that repels unfamiliar or direct threats. In Human anatomy or biology, it is called the immune system, it is a defense mechanism that combats diseases. Initially, he approached indirectly. Seeing that she accepted his narrative, he then proceeded to be more direct in his approach.
For God knows that when you eat from it, your eyes will be opened and you will be like God, knowing good and bad.
After sowing the seed of doubts, he crowned it with a Proposal. This was the final phase of this strategy. He handed out to Eve the possibility of being like God, the possibility of seeing like God, he also proposed to her an opportunity of knowing what’s good and bad.
Don’t forget you’re dealing with a very smart entity. Anybody who says that the devil is not powerful is just ignorant and the Bible clearly instructed us to not be ignorant of his devices because all his strategies always start out indirectly, nothing is coincidental they’re all so very planned intentionally.
Suddenly, a tree that was once forbidden became exceedingly attractive. Eve's perception shifted, finding the tree remarkably beautiful due to the devil's enticing proposal.
The woman saw that the tree was good for food, and pleasing to the eyes, and could fill the desire of making one wise.
Looking at this passage we have questions, questions that I already answered earlier.
Question 1: What made Eve for the very first time see a taboo to be Beautiful?
The answer is perversion. The devil had earlier sowed doubt into her heart, by questioning the authenticity of God. Immediately she bought into what she was being told, her heart was exposed to perversion.
For God knows that when you eat from it, your eyes will be opened and you will be like God, knowing good and bad.
The revelation behind this goes way beyond the forbidden fruit. I don't think it would have cost God anything to simply forgive Eve. After all, it was just a tree with
