by Cindy David
is well-organized, and filled with wisdom to live out the ordinary and extraordinary of daily marriage. A few promises that struck home with me include: I do promise to have only eyes for you; I do promise to call off the search committee; I do promise to help you carry your burdens;I do promise to help you overcome your anger; and, I do promise not to let the sun go down on my anger.
Together, and on one's own, these promises are quite monumental. Taken separately, and where they strike a cord with the reader, they are helpful and the writing is in such a style that one may feel understood and supported.
Overall, I take this title to convey that marriage is a process; the wedding, the event.
