It is hard to see the hurt some children feel because of where they live or if they are not able to do class work as well as others. They hold all these feelings deep in their hearts. This causes them to become bitter toward other children within their surroundings. It's surprising how a smile can become the making of friendship that is needed.

Yvonne Bardwell Cox and her husband Pastor Tommy L. Cox reside in Columbus, Mississippi. She has a blended family of handsome sons, beautiful daughters, adorable grandchildren, and beloved great-grandchildren. Yvonne cherishes time spent with her family. She is a proud alumnus… successfully completed her educational degree status to obtain a Bachelor’s in Special Education (Jackson State University, Jackson, MS), a Master’s, and an Educational Specialist in Administration and Supervision (Mississippi State University, Starkville, MS). She is a lifetime professional educator and learner, who believes in securing educational opportunities for all children.
