The new blogger - A. Atherton
INTRODUCTION
That is literally all I want is to be about: energetically, cosmically, universally channelling rewarding potentials.
I was slowly converting a website from random beauty posts into a steady representation of my writing and art career. Since I had been painting since I was about 8 (and perhaps even younger), I figured the arts count as a career and my experience plenty. But I had studied engineering so how did I get so far astray??
In December of 2020, I started a mini-journey on YouTube documenting the process of writing my first novel. The videos didn’t last long but it was great headway and support material for blogging. I had written many poems and one epic poem which might be considered a short story. The novel would be my first full-feature fiction work. It’s strange how all this happened. I think we just get pushed into things the more we do them and the more we come across others of a similar mindset.
2020 felt like the year to clean up my act, even though I had just recently quit my good paying and friendly job. Frankly, the image of that year was Scary. All I could see just when I started feeling brave and unafraid was 2020 coming along to upend me. The time for the dirty work arrived and I took a swim in my own proverbial madness. Luckily, I survived.
This book is a catalog of my first few blogging years and my thoughts on internet marketing, blogging and ebooks. (Find more at errand.gumroad.com )
I am constantly laughing to myself and I encourage others to do the same. Hopefully once this book is done we can all laugh together at the joy of success!

SECTION ONE
Getting Started as a Content Creator
––––––––
Building a Start : Larger Niches are Greater Visual Aides and Traffic
Does whatever you were previously thinking, anymore, make sense? Do any of the previous concepts you once believed make sense? Have you realized anything through therapy? Have you realized that most of us probably need some kind of therapy?
Some say that the Obstacle is the Way. I think there’s even a book on it. In the beginning, a small niche can attract readers. As your blog grows though you will want to become more general or even find your target audience through research and SEO.
Being a blogger is being a content creator and creating your own images will drive higher traffic to your website. Traffic is defined by the visits to your site. It can come from anywhere but when it comes from being linked in a blog (an honorable mention) it is called back-linked traffic. You want to use back-links even in your own posts, as everything on the internet is interconnected.
The better pages you talk about, the better your own page is likely to become. To be human is to be reflective. Humanity is ever-changing and growing and reorganizing or re-orchestrating its needs. Do the same with yours.
Not all wounds can be self-healed. There is an element of healing which happens through sharing. Running a blog can be a start of solving your own problems and through it, finding an
audience. The best thing to write about is something that you know. The harder you work to look put-together and like you know everything, the harder it becomes to admit your humanity and the riskier it becomes to admit to someone that you’ve been fooled. Your blog can and will demonstrate growth and it can be scary how transparent words can sometimes be. You have to wear your humanity on your sleeve. Be professional, but be accepting of your challenges.

Tips for Success as a Creator
Building Your Brand, Your Personal Theme
It’s okay to start slow and you don’t want to move too fast. When people sign up for your blog, they receive updates in their email as subscribers. You don’t want to write too many posts in a week or else they might mark you as spam! If you do find yourself with more than one idea for a blog each day, save them as drafts. You can also schedule blog posts to go out later. That way, sometimes you’ll have a week off.
Your target audience will eventually find you but you have to be passionate or at least interested in what you write. If your first few blogs come out looking
