About The Author
chapter11 ALONG WITH THE OTHERS
This is a lovely small town with about 145 people. No doubt a rural area. Don’t worry we see traffic from the highway, which is highway running East and West and lies in the South and North that is off country Road.
Our lovely rural town has old buildings, new buildings, older folk, and young folks, and weird folks. We have all sorts of beautiful animals, wild and not so wild. We have visions of all sorts of beautiful birds, bees, and even butterflies. Do you know we even have disturbing things such as armadillos, they make such a mess around here in our rural properties and highways? I do not believe they actually belong here, but who am I to say which belongs and which don´t. We are all GODS’ creatures.
Well, my story begins with a neat lady whom really helped and watched the progress of this rural town moving along in to the 21st century. Her name is Belle Leslie (her family came from Scotland). She had long black silky hair with green eyes, what a beautiful woman. She passed it on through generation.
Believe me, it´s like granny don´t forget you have to be careful at your age, but not her, she ribs up her engine(loud) and she goes miles without shifting gears, especially in town, we do not even have a sign that says 0 miles an hour or go at your own speed.
She has a lovely back yard, which her home sits in a small area outside of town. She is Granny loving her back yard and visiting with the rabbit and all her family and friends.
About everyday a brown plump rabbit comes to her back yard. Sometimes she or he runs and sometimes he hides, and most of the time she or he takes over, but in a very discreet mannerism, if you know what I mean.
As I was going thru the yard she or he sat under a large tree, I thought my, she or he won’t move, she might be having babies, so I walked up to the rabbit and she or he just squirmed, but mind you she or he did not move.
I was telling Belle Leslie about the rabbit, and she said, Well you just need to know how to talk to the rabbit,
are you having a good day my rabbit?" I laughed, I thought to myself well she or he is enjoying Granny’s yard and the rabbit comes to visit her from his or her own comfort zone most of the time, or whenever she or he can.
Most certainly makes herself at home. By the way I did learn that she was not having babies, and that she is a he, so
