Hello, I'm Connor Whiteley, I am an 18-year-old who loves to write creatively, and I wrote my Brownsea trilogy when I was 14 years old after I went to Brownsea Island on a scout camp. At the camp, I started to think about how all the broken tiles and pottery got there and somehow a trilogy got created.Moreover, I love writing fantasy and sci-fi novels because you’re only limited by your imagination.In addition, I'm was an Explorer Scout and I love camping, sailing and other outdoor activities as well as cooking.Furthermore, I do quite a bit of charity work as well. I was invited to Prince Charles’ 70th birthday party and how some of us got in the royal photograph.Finally, I am going to university and I hope to get my doctorate in clinical psychology in a few years.

ASHES OF VALICAN

An entire world was burnt to ash in a matter of minutes.

When I, Elizabeth Sobeth, was summoned to investigate the events of Valican, I hardly doubted it was anything more than a simple case of a planet being miscategorised by the idiots of the Imperium and their so-called divine Rex.

What I actually found terrified me.

According to scans, maps and a number of highly rated travel books, I should have been standing in the middle of a luscious ocean with amazing colourful fish, monsters and tourists would come here for months at a time to sail on these stunning seas.

Believe me that couldn’t be further from the truth because I was standing in the middle of an ash-covered stretch of land that really did go on endlessly for miles upon miles. There was nothing here for ash that was constantly getting blown up and kicked into the air by a harsh warm breeze.

The ash was an interesting mixture of black, grey and yellow that constantly swirled around each other in weird alien ways that I didn’t understand.
