Why would the Scarlet Hero try this yet again? Herobrine asked as they crept down the hallway.

Steve didn’t have an answer for that. He had no idea why Scarlet Hero would be attempting to take over the game of Minecraft again. The reasons didn’t truly matter. They just had to find a way to stop him.

The sun had almost fully set by this point. The moon was rising up higher in the sky which made the energy in the middle of the Oasis seem to shine even brighter. As the two friends went around a corner, Herobrine reached out and grabbed Steve.

    Do you hear that?

Steve fell silent and strained his ears, trying to hear what it could be. He thought he did hear something…some sort of low hum. They changed direction and tried to follow the noise.

It’s coming from here. Steve said in front of a large door.

He went to go open it but then Herobrine was letting out a noise of surprise. Steve turned around and saw tons of skeletons coming down towards them. All of them had weapons as they marched towards the two of them.

    Uh-oh. Steve mumbled.

There’s too many to fight. Herobrine said under his breath.

Even so, they braced themselves for a battle. As the skeletons came to a stop in front of them, however, they didn’t attack. They pointed their swords at them. All around Steve and Herobrine were the glint of swords.

I think they want us to surrender. Steve mumbled.

Looks like it. But I’ve never seen skeletons act like this before, have you?

No. But Scarlet Hero has probably powered them up enough that they can do things they normally can’t in the game.

Fine, fine, we surrender. Herobrine said and held his hands out.

Steve did the same. One of the skeletons came forward and wrapped their wrists tightly with rope. Then they were pushed forward, away from the door with the humming noise, down the hallway.

Anyone want to tell us where we are going? Steve asked, Can any of you talk?

    None of the skeletons replied.

Steve shrugged a little, Guess not.

They were taken down a staircase. The staircase seemed to stretch on forever. Herobrine let out a sigh.

We must be being taken to the dungeons.

Well, I wasn’t exactly thinking that Scarlet Hero was going to give us our own rooms.

Would have been nice, Herobrine said, We’re all old friends by this point.

At this, Steve laughed. They finally came to the end of the staircase. One of the skeletons opened a door and they were pushed inside. Rows of empty cells lined
