You can’t just whack her.  A dead body, especially an important dead body, will bring far too much heat.

I still say we should just whack her.

Vincent shook his head.  His partner might be a financial genius but his intelligence seemed restricted to things with a dollar sign attached.  No!  We keep watching her.  I’ll be back this afternoon.

The ‘her in question was Celine Grayson, daughter of a United States senator.  She was tall, blonde, and curvaceous.  If she wasn’t pretty, she was certainly attractive and always had several male suitors vying for her attention.

But it wasn’t her beauty that Vincent was concerned about.  It was her inquisitiveness.  Celine was currently enrolled in a Masters program at Cornell University’s sociology department.  Her thesis research revolved around the daily trials and tribulations faced by exotic dancers.  As part of her research, Celine had become a stripper herself.  And that’s where the problem had started.

Vincent and his partner, Bernie Ponzo, had been at the strip club where Celine had been performing a series of lap dances at the table next to theirs.  Her customer had been a man who was going bald prematurely.  His strategy for counteracting his lack of hair was a Rolex watch, a Hermès tie, and a carefully tailored dark blue suit.

Bernie had been talking up the strip club all week.  He’d said that there were no worries because the club didn’t serve alcohol.  It’ll be totally safe.  It hadn’t hurt Bernie’s case that not serving alcohol permitted the girls to go fully nude.  The girls are friendly.
