It was not usual to find an anthro zebra and giraffe pairing in Wales, even close to the border to England, though Liza and Chima had found one another regardless. He’d just been passing through, travelling for work, though they’d struck up conversation in a service station on the motorway, of all places – and that had been it for them. Even though they lived some distance apart, they found a way to make things work, staying in touch and connecting even when it was not all that easy just to pop around to one of their apartments without planning ahead.
