Episode 1: Prisoner of Two Worlds
Palimay grew up in the Kingdom of Paragon as the City Prince of Emralsey with his best friend, a Wrythe, named Sett. His father, Governor Avitus, ruled from the palace where Palimay freely roamed the marble halls and grand gardens. This is where he met his beloved Palea, a servant girl he felt destined to marry. Even when he left his father’s palace to serve King Malimar far away, his love for Palea did not waiver. In service to the King, he dreamt of the day he’d see her again. That day had finally arrived, but not the way he had envisioned. On the run, with his father banished from Emralsey, and he marked for death by the King himself, Palimay finally held her in his arms. But the joy was short-lived. The Wrythe, Melchom, had come to help him escape, but at what cost? Lost and alone, across the Great Divide, he found himself alone in the hellish lands of Simmerian, ruled by the Dark Lord, Astaroth. And now, with his head on the execution stone, he could only hopelessly dream for a moment more of seeing Palea again.
TELL US WHAT YOU’RE doing here,
Astaroth seethed, drawing a knife to the side of his throat. This is your last chance.
I told you,
Palimay’s voice
