    The invisible city - 10

    Once upon a time, on the shore of a deep lake that appeared after the fall of a meteorite, a rich and bright city called Kitezh, where a powerful wizard named Círdan, half horse and half human, was born.

    The city, with a square base from which four triangles rose, was a majestic place; it was built entirely of white stone, a symbol of wealth and purity in that period.

    At the four ends of Kitezh stood four decorative pylons, each with a sculpture of a golden horse.

    The great City Palace was topped by a large white stone dome and a torch-shaped turret.

    Kitezh had already been the scene of a war between the city's inhabitants, beings of light, and the warriors who tried to conquer it.

    The beings of light lived in silence, unlike the warriors.

    After hearing about the very rich Kitezh, the wizard Círdan decided to plunder it.
