I Am Dynamite The Creeper Book 1 - Mark Mulle
Day Two: Not All Mobs Are the Same
Dear Diary,
I was talking up Creepers a lot yesterday, but I want to take today to mention some of the differences between Creepers and the other mobs out there. For this entry, though, I’m just going to focus on the mobs that live on Earth. I’ve never been to the Nether or The End, so I don’t know much about the mobs that live there. Also, those places sound terrible, and I never want to go there, if I don’t have to.
Anyway, not all mobs are created equal-- or of equal kind. While Creepers don’t attack humans or villagers on purpose, some mobs do. Giant spiders are some of my least favorite mobs. Sure, little spiders that eat flies in your house are nice, but giant spiders... I’d prefer to have them living far away from my home, and I imagine that villagers and humans would agree.
Other than our non-hostile nature, there is one other thing that helps to set Creepers apart from other mobs. We can go outside during the day! It may not seem like a very special skill, considering that humans and villagers are usually out during the day. However, a lot of mobs can only come out at night, but we can do both! Well, when our parents don’t give us a curfew, we can do both.
Since I’m still technically a kid, I do have a curfew, and my parents like me to be home before some of the more dangerous mobs come out (I hope I never live to see a zombie). Because most of the other mobs do their thing at night and humans and villagers tend not to like Creepers, I mostly hang out with other Creepers.
Tomorrow, I’m going to hang out with my Creeper friends. I’ll write all about it then!
Day Three: Cameron and the Crew
Dear Diary,
As I mentioned earlier, my best friend’s name is Cameron. We hang out pretty much whenever we can. I also hang out with some of the other Creepers from my neighborhood. Today, I was with Cameron, Abby, and Carly. That’s our usual friend group. We go by The Crew.
Some people might think that’s lame, but I think it sounds kind of cool.
We didn’t have school today since it’s the summertime, so we had all day to hang out. Our day together started how it usually does. I asked, What do you guys want to do today?
My friends threw out their suggestions, but none of them landed with the group until Cameron said, Let’s go to Ufoville and spook some of the villagers!
Abby and Carly were all about this idea, but I wasn’t. I don’t like spooking villagers. It’s not very nice and it’s super dangerous. I didn’t have any better ideas though, which my friends were a bit too happy to remind me of, so I agreed to go
