Author

Sadie Thatcher

Sadie Thatcher grew up in a small conservative town (think Footloose). Spending all that time in a sexually repressed place has led Sadie to need to explore her sexuality through prose. Sadie has been a long time writer, but has now become confident enough to share the explorations of her deepest and darkest sexual fantasies. Enjoy.

The sound of a vehicle on the gravel road drew Red to the window. It was unusual for anyone to come calling this late in the day. A black SUV drove up the road, heading straight toward the farmhouse where Red lived with her husband, Wyatt.

Babe, Red called out. Get the gun. We might have unwelcome visitors.

Red stepped outside just as the SUV came to a stop at the edge of the front yard. She could hear Wyatt scrambling behind her, but he did not appear on the front porch with the shotgun before the driver stepped out of the car. The driver was difficult to describe. Their body was tall and lean, but there was no one feature that gave Red an idea about whether this was a man or a woman. Even the cut of the person's suit was oddly androgynous, but it was black to match the color of the SUV.

You from the bank? Red called out.

The figure was only a couple steps into the yard when Wyatt stepped out onto the porch holding his shotgun in both hands. He had yet to point it at the stranger, but his intent was clear.

My name is Jinx, the stranger said. I am not from the bank. But I am here about a business proposition for you. Is your name Alexandra? And yours Wyatt?

Red bristled at her real name. Alexandra or Alex. It was her given name, but not one that she identified with. Her red hair had always been her defining feature and people just called her Red instead. It had been like that for as long as she could remember. She only used her real name on official documents, including those with the bank.

What kind of proposition? Red called out, still not welcoming this Jinx person anymore than she had to.

This was not the kind of conversation Red wanted to have about her farm today. Or ever. There was no secret that she and Wyatt had fallen on hard times. This was their third year running the farm. Their crops had failed all three years. Last month, they had to put down all but one of their dairy cows. It was a total disaster, with the bank now hounding her about the loans they took out.

Maybe we can step inside and discuss the particulars, Jinx said. I assume you do not wish to attract attention.

Red glanced over at Wyatt and nodded. His presence beside her made her feel secure enough to hear what Jinx had to say. The fact that someone showed up wanting to talk about a deal involving money made it clear that Red needed to be careful. She was smart enough to know a scam when she saw one, though she didn't expect something so overt as a strange person showing up in an expensive car and then offering money for services. There was always a catch.

I'll hear what you have to say, but I make no promises, Red said as she stepped back into the house, allowing the stranger passage.

Oh, I think you'll like what I have to say, Jinx said as they brushed past Red. They turned and grinned at Red as she entered.

Red could have sworn she saw sharp teeth under Jinx's thin lips, but once they had turned around again, she could see
