Day One: Where Do I Begin?

Dear Diary,

Where do I even begin when it comes to explaining all of the crazy stuff that’s happened to me, my friends, and the other Creepers in my neighborhood in the last couple of months? I guess I should start with my name. I’m Dynamite. I like to tell people that I’m just as lucky as you would expect a Creeper with the name Dynamite to be. It’s a very unusual name for a Creeper. I have no idea what my parents were thinking when they named me. Living proof of how weird my name is, my best friends are Cameron, Carly, and Abby.

Anyway, my name isn’t nearly as important as my story. The craziness all started about two months ago. One nice summer’s day, I was sitting around, just minding my own business. All of a sudden, someone threw a sack over my head and kidnapped me! The next thing I knew, I was at a strange gold mine-- or what a few messed up miners hoped would one day be a gold mine. They kidnapped me so I would help with their mine. They didn’t want me to use a pickaxe or shovel though-- they wanted to make me explode to use me as TNT! Needless to say, that’s the last thing I wanted for myself.

To postpone my explosion, I convinced the miners to try to make their own TNT and use that instead. They did eventually make TNT with my help. By the time we got back to the mining site, there were loads of farmers who wanted to claim the land for their own. The miners and farmers started fighting, and that’s when I escaped from the miners. I made my way back home, but I had gotten distracted and lost, so I was late. Too late. The miners got there first and kidnapped every last Creeper in my neighborhood!

I went back to the mining site and saved them with the help of my best friend, Cameron. We all then went back
