Acknowledgements
A special thanks to all my inspirations and muses, the good, the bad and the ugly, but especially Jennifer Chai, the surrogate mother of Food For Thoughts as she is practically the reason for Food For Thoughts’ birth as she gave me the motivation enough to show it to the world. My gratitude goes to modern day artists like Olivia Rodrigo, Sabrina Carpenter, and especially Taylor Swift who I’m a big fan of for inspirations and pop culture references. Thank you to Sandra Khoo for her marvellous illustration for the chapbook cover. Of course not forgetting God who helped me through the tough times, my family and friends, whom all of them made this one way or another possible.

But I won’t stop here. As an aspiring writer and a poet, I can only dream and envy those who can write for a living. After a decade of being stifled in a corporate career, I lost touch with writing, but it has always lived within me. Since I always loved good food (who doesn’t), this chapbook came to me naturally when I asked myself what should the title of my first chapbook be. From there, the rest was history. After coming up with the title, I drew inspirations from my life and the emotions I was going through at the moment and came up with various food related chapters in which I try to capture using words and poetry as much
