Lindsey Gray

Lindsey Gray spends her days and most of her nights creating characters, over thinking everything, and trying to remember all the things on her massive to-do list. One thing that is always at the top of her list is writing something she hopes others will enjoy. Her journey into authordom began when her first novel was published in 2010. Through trials, tribulations, and learning how to work well with others in the author sandbox, she has found a joy she never thought she would know. Her many lists also include mothering her two children, devoting time to her handsome hubby, formatting novels for other authors, and hosting her weekly radio show, Gray Matters, on TMV Cafe Internet Radio.

So, this is our new Wednesday night ritual? Parker asked as she placed a bowl of popcorn on the round, dining room table.

Yes, her older sister, Sami, answered. Now deal the cards. I’m ready for a few laughs after the day I had. Sami plopped down in one of the chairs around the table next to her fiancé, Gabe.

What craziness went down today? Gabe inquired and rubbed his hand across Sami’s shoulder.

Sami was a saint in Parker’s opinion. As a pediatrician, things were difficult for Sami before the pandemic. Parker could tell things would only get worse for her sister.

Who do we need to dress up for? I didn’t have any online meetings today since I turned in my latest project. Parker loved working from home. She hated the Kansas City traffic she usually fought on her route every day. The blazers or jackets in her closet only came out when she had a video call or
