Anabel inquired as she glanced at the newspaper clipping Bitsie had just pinned on the small bulletin board near the bakery fridge.
She’s a local food blogger, also does articles for the Fayetteville paper occasionally. Remember her glowing review of us?
Bitsie responded.
Yeah, she was really enthusiastic about our strawberry caramel cupcakes.
Exactly. Almost embarrassingly so,
Bitsie chuckled.
‘Bitsie’s Bakeshop offers the best cupcakes I’ve ever tasted,’
Anabel read aloud.

urged Bitsie.
‘A mouthful of heaven!’

‘Once I’d tasted one of Bitsie’s cupcakes, I knew I was ready to die a happy woman—’

Bitsie interjected. Considering our history with murders, not the wisest choice of words. But they are good, aren’t they?
