About The Author
Chapter One
––––––––
FBI. Special agent Mark Drummonds,
the burly man in plainclothes announced, flashing a badge after Adam answered a frantic knock on the door. We’re here to transport you to a safe house.
What for?
Adam asked, shooting a glance over Agent Drummonds’ shoulder.
We’ve received instructions to take you somewhere more secure while the embassy sorts out your documents,

A uniformed police officer stood outside and waited for them to enter before positioning himself beside the driver and the front row. Agent Drummonds sat with Eli and Jesse at the back, while Adam and Tish settled in the middle.
What happens now?
Adam asked in a frantic tone, still dazed by the manner they were ushered out of the bungalow, without so
