Designing The Perfect Life - Dan Z Teiki
INTRODUCTION
Living a perfect life is a subjective concept that varies among individuals. To one it means having enough money, to another it means living in perfect health. To others it means having a certain kind of asset. To another it means marrying the woman of your dreams. In this book, you will discover some profound theories that will guide you in your decision making process towards living the perfect life. These theories provide you with the details and importance of designing your own life and the consequences attached to every decision.
It also provides you with some tips and exercises that ensures that you take action. By the end of this book, you will discover the importance of personal development and the key areas to give more attention to. You will also learn why it is important to incorporate certain key habits into your daily routine in order to live a healthy and fulfilled life.
CHAPTER ONE
How does a perfect life look like?
S
ally is a beautician. Her clients love her for her skill and talent. She’s well known and admired by many young and in-training beauticians. They look up to her and take inspiration from her daily work. She’s married to her beloved husband Richie, and have three beautiful young children; two boys and a girl.
Richie is a successful business man who occasionally travels outside of the city to close deals and establish partnerships with potential prospects. Sally and her family are in perfect health, financially stable and barely have any challenges in their life. Sally is happy and is said to be living a perfect life.
To many, when we talk about having a perfect life, Sally’s case is what’s considered a perfect life. A life full of fun and free of struggles. A life surrounded by loved ones and plenty of luxury. A life filled with laughter and fun round the clock. But is this what a perfect life is? Is this all there is to a perfect life? Does sally really have a perfect life?
Well, while I’ll not dispute the fact that a perfect life consists of everything Sally has, that is not all there is to life.
There are many aspects of life we must explore.
Having a perfect life differs from one individual to the other. To some, it means being popular on social media and having many followers. To others, it means inventing new technologies to enhance the productivity of others, to others it means living to serve other humans and being charitable in their actions, while to other it means worshiping and living a sin free life. The list is endless.
What a perfect life means to an engineer will of a certainty differ from that of a doctor. The same way a perfect life for a scientist will differ from an entrepreneur.
So what does it mean to have a perfect life?
Regardless of what you consider a perfect life to be, it must have these components I’ll be sharing in the following chapters.
CHAPTER TWO
Understanding the science of human needs
Whatever was, is. Whatever will be, is.
Ecclesiastes 3:15 (MSB)
The kind of life you want to live is not a new one. It is not the kind that has never existed
